Fishing

There is good trout fishing in the river and the mountain lakes,
expecially in May, June and in September.
A fishing license for the whole municipality can be bought at the kiosk,
we also have a limited supply of fishing gear.
Our staff can offer some guiding and a bunch of tipps.

Boating and fishing
For those who love fishing we have rowing boats up in two mountain lakes
with private fishing rights. Catch the trout of a lifetime!

Flyfishing Workshop
And for our guests who would like to learn to fish with the fly, we offer individual courses by our staff .. direct at the campsite .. for free .. we provide the gear!
Ask at the reception for your arrangement. This offer is limited to May, June and September.

Walking and hiking

Walking in Setesdal is something that has to be experienced. From a relaxing walk to the Gloppefossen waterfall to multiple-day hikes in the surriounding mountains,
the Setesdal have something to offer for anyone. Maps and detailed descriptions can be obtained at the reception.
